Good Smiles is Hiring an Experienced Dental Receptionist Near Mayodan, NC

Primarily FFS general dentistry practice is seeking a full time friendly, welcoming, experienced receptionist/patient care coordinator to join our team! Applicant must have experience working in a dental setting, experience working with insurance, be able to multitask, have a warm personality with excellent communication skills, and be organized and detail-oriented. Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years experience in a dental front office, be willing to submit a background check, and provide relevant dental references.

Office hours are 7:45am - 5pm. Four day work week (alternating Wednesdays and Fridays off until Memorial Day; Fridays off thereafter).

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Effective and courteous communication with patients and team members
  • Reviewing treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financing options
  • Working knowledge of dental insurance (i.e., verifications, pre-determinations, claims submissions, follow up)
  • Working knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Scheduling for hygienists and dentist
  • Checking in/out patients
  • Collecting payments at time of service
